This April we’re celebrating National Pet Month by doing what we love best: rolling out the welcome mat for dogs and their humans alike.
Whether you’re popping in for lunch or planning a proper overnight escape, The Ropemaker is ready and waiting for you and your four-legged friend.

There’s no better time of year to get out and explore with your dog. And when you’ve had your fill of fresh air and gorgeous scenery, come and find us.
We’ve got water bowls, free treats and our well-loved stick library for any discerning dog to browse. Muddy paws? Bring them in. We really don’t mind.
We’d love to see your photos too! Snap a pic of your pup on their adventure and share it with us. National Pet Month feels better with a good dog photo (or twenty).

Thanks to our partnership with Pooch & Mutt and the brilliant Sir Woofchester’s dog menu, your furry friend can dine almost as well as you do.
Grain-free treat pots, proper dog dinner bowls and even a dog ‘martini’ (chicken and passion fruit, if you’re wondering). It’s a full dining experience for the most deserving of guests.

Here’s the really lovely bit. Book your stay direct through our website this April and bring your dog along at no extra charge.
No need to add the Doggie Stay to your extras cart. Just pop a note in when you book to let us know your furry friend is joining you, and we’ll have everything sorted.
Your check-in and check-out dates just need to fall within April 2026. That’s all there is to it.
A cosy room, a great meal, stunning walking routes on the doorstep and your dog by your side. Sounds like a pretty good April to us.
